Michael Ross Potter is an Associate Professor at Mississippi State University and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Public Integrity. Mike is a Co-PI on $2.6 million Department of Army grant dealing with open-source intelligence collection. He has also authored a monograph with Lexington Books and has published articles in Administration & Society, Public Integrity, the International Journal of Public Administration, Global Virtue Ethics Review, and Public Administration Research. He has also contributed several book chapters to edited volumes (published by ABC-CLIO, Routledge Press, and Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla Press). His research interests focus on terrorist finance, ethics, and regulatory policy. Before joining MSU, he served as graduate director for the Masters of Public Administration at the University of Wyoming and as an Assistant professor at Appalachian State University. In his professional career, he worked for the West Virginia State Legislature and the American Bankers Association. He completed his B.A. at West Virginia University and his M.P.A and Ph.D. in Public Administration and Public Affairs from the Center for Public Administration and Policy at Virginia Tech. Mike is a native of Waynesboro, VA and in his free-time enjoys playing the banjo, chess, scuba-diving, rodeo, and spending time with his wife (Trisha), two kids (Emilie & Jacob), dog, guinea pigs, and 17 chickens.
