Welcome
Welcome to the Department of Political Science and Public Administration (PSPA).
Our small and diverse faculty of 16 members reflect specialties in several major subfields of the discipline—U.S. government, public administration, comparative politics, international relations and political theory. PSPA’s researchers and teachers publish books and scholarly articles that appear in many respected outlets, with a sizeable number of projects capturing highly competitive grants.
We attract 250-plus undergraduate students whose focus is U.S. politics, particularly pre-law. We house a mid-sized accredited professional program offering the Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) with around 40 students in addition to a smaller general MA program and a Ph.D. program in public policy and administration.
